But you are being forced to reduce your heating by sky rocketing energy uplifts and stop using straws. I am in a similar position, my view is you are unlikely to bring them to an "as new" condition short of re-chroming. Unless I am mistaken the depth of original chrome layers was reduced at some point. My 20 year old Jag chrome parts are still as new. Autosol as a cleaner is as good as anything I know
