  1. Not entirely sure how to use Bridgestone tyres as suppositories, sounds painful mind 😫😫😫😫😫
  2. Amazon no longer selling this one for whatever reason. Also one of the reviews made an interesting comment re the software, that is, it demands your location is permanently on? Why?
  3. J, firstly, look up Kevin hunter the homework guy on YouTube, fantastic insights especially the one on Leverage. Secondly, following on from Malcs comment I believe there are thousands of vehicles on PCP contracts being artificially funded through furlough money. Unless we have a V shaped recovery this will have an interesting impact on 2nd hand values in the near future
  4. So in your opinion Peter is this a good acquisition option for a hybrid owner?
  5. As AA Milne once said," they say nothing is impossible yet I do nothing every day"😎
  6. Ray, different products. This thing doesn't charge only monitors via an app to your phone. It makes sure your secondary battery won't get to a critical state without you knowing
  7. Crikey Vadim, have medical professionals on hand for when you realise your car works as well🥳🥳🥳
  8. Does anyone have experience with this product? Just seen Ed China promoting it on YouTube and it looks ideal for constant monitoring AGM battery status on a RX, thanks 🤔
  9. Does the same apply to a four seat car vehicle when you only use one? Or a 4 bed house when there's only 2 of you and the dog 😱
  10. Changing ideas and opinions is a euphemism for propaganda for adults and brainwashing for children what is going on all over is grim. Limiting speeds for example in the Netherlands is just a way of "nudging" you towards self-driving cars. At which point the government will control how and when you can be mobile. Same with the acceleration towards a cashless society, someone else will be in control of what little money you have left after usuary levels of taxation. In terms of climate change there are lone voices out there like the GWPF who are valiantly presenting some real world data against a blizzard of misinformation and omissions. For example when did Sky or the BBC report on African nations planning 1250 new coal and gas fired power stations let alone China's 5 a month? But you are being forced to reduce your heating by sky rocketing energy uplifts and stop using straws. Consider, "Almost everywhere you look, climate change is having only small, and often benign, impacts. The impact of extreme weather events ― hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and droughts ― are, if anything, declining. Economic damages have declined as a fraction of global GDP. Death rates from such events have declined by 99% since the 1920s. Climate-related disease has collapsed. And more people die from cold than warm temperatures" Quote from GWPF article, now you might argue against this, and that's a start, at least you are getting an opposing view.
  11. Are you sure it's plastic? Be amazed if it were.
  12. I am in a similar position, my view is you are unlikely to bring them to an "as new" condition short of re-chroming. Unless I am mistaken the depth of original chrome layers was reduced at some point. My 20 year old Jag chrome parts are still as new. Autosol as a cleaner is as good as anything I know
  13. Sounds like a fantastic piece of Jaguar motoring history, I would definitely contact the JEC so we can record such an event 👍
  14. For a woman to change her mind is her perogative, for a man to change his is pure purgatory
  15. Like someone from Texas who boasts that it takes him all day to get to the boundary of his land 😂
  16. Reminds me of the old Jewish joke, "I want to die peacefully and quietly like my father, unlike his passengers, screaming🤭
  17. But what style Malc🍾 and as the Americans would say, there reaches a certain juncture of maturation in one's life where cost is not necessarily the number one consideration.
  18. As part of a longer missive I opined thus, During my working career when asked what my ambitions were I often replied; To be a trainee eccentric. But it's only of late that I have come to realise that in fact what I was doing was chasing wisdom. In addition to Deming on that drive back my thoughts wandered to Greek mythology and the Lotus Eaters. Here they lived in eternal sunlit afternoons in a perfect state of mind and no concerns to disturb their contemplations and that's sort of like driving the RX. So it is Lexus in place of Lotus (apologies to Tennyson) from here on in and I anticipate wisdom insights any day now especially how to afford a series IV😎 And with a name like Nico I am sure he will "get this" 😂
