  1. I did have a dodgy passport photo from 9 years ago, but I lost it recently! Just got my new one through in the past few weeks. I (had) an american visa, that had a brilliant photo of me, I looked like a criminal
  2. I use shell v-power in my lex. I used to swear by bp ultimate, but the car is more agressive and holds it's power much better right upto the redline on v-power. I was quite surprised by the difference!
  3. I'm off to Tignes in February for a weeks skiing. Hope theres some bloody snow by then
  4. Speak to maneesh. He seems to fancy himself as some kind of pimping gangsta for some reason.
  5. I second that, I received excellent service when I plumped with them a month ago!
  6. What Has Loc Done For You In 2006? Provided me with some very entertaining threads to read
  7. Yeah, but it's entertaining reading to us bystanders
  8. i'll have a look in the shops tomorrow, if theres one there, i'm gonna buy it!
  9. ermmm....I'm thinking I'll need a little driving tuition after my spin at Donington this weekend... :D :D :D :D Good man! I haven't managed to get onto a track since Silverstone! Will hopefully get round to it in Jan / Feb.
  10. cool, that means I can come in my MR2! Count me in chaps! :D Mikey, fancy a race?
  11. WD40? Man's best friend! Seriously, if it is what you think it might be, then that would be an excellent lubricant to test it out with. If not, use a few drops of good old "3-in1" :D
  12. Thats pretty much what I thought after I spent the day in an IS250 recently. It's just not that much better to warrant me replacing my S/C IS200. (lovely autobox though) It's not powerful enough either
  13. Read it in the Times instead then; http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2-2477478,00.html Thats better, a quality link :D
  14. what I want to know is.... can you jump on the (foot operated) handbrake to perform phat 180's?
  15. Well, you can't compare a supercharged manual IS200 to an automatic IS250. Different class of cars. My IS200 has much more torque (at least it feels like it) over the IS250. It's also an easier car to see out of it (whats with the monster size rear-view mirror), and I also hit my head on the roof whilst getting into the car! The cockpit is a nicer place to be, but it's much smaller than the IS200's. The stereo is my IS200 is also better IMO (comparing like for like here, none of this Mark Levinson stuff). But my IS250 had manual operated seats. Whats all that about? Would I buy one? At the moment no. Ask me in 3 years time when they are about 10k and I'll have a rethink!
  16. I'm actually quite looking forward to the trip back to Reading shortly. My car is ready to pick up. Gonna have a play with the paddles this time. It'll be intresting to see what I think of my IS200 on the way home! :D
  17. Diddly squat, I didn't even manage to get over 75mph!
  18. you got that right, i had to drive my 95 mondeo thats got 183,000 on the clock to work... while knowing that i got the lexus in the garage .... the amount of paperwork is silly... i should be allowed to drive it the way it is I've only driven it up and down my drive... how sad i know.... :P I don't suppose you were ever a member of the Mondeo Enthusiasts Group (www.fordmondeo.org) were you?
  19. Is that coz it Auto nick i had test drive in the 220d manual and it was to drive. I haven't got masses of experience of automatic gearboxes, but this one I was really happy with. It's very smooth, quiet, perfect for the stop start traffic I had to endure getting to work! In fact, the more I think about it, the more I enjoyed it
