  1. Very, very skilled..... I would be even more impressed if the car didn't need a new rear end now.
  2. I can't help you with your questions... i'm sure someone will come along soon who can, nevertheless welcome to LOC :)
  3. Thank you.... I welcome everyone's observations.
  4. Believe me that image is definitely going...... I look like i've just seen a huge spider
  5. http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/ ..... The virtual tour works well on "full screen". There's a few sections to add yet, like the images from the club meets, a gallery of unusual cars and our sponsored track cars. All comments good or bad are welcomed :)
  6. could you re-phrase that ?!?!?!?!? Quality
  7. A change in camber will violate the toe and when this is corrected move the castor forward, the amount depends on the camber change. There's information i need from the chassis that only the Geo machine can tell me so i suggest you call me when the car is on the rig and i will talk to the technician on the day. If their intention is to help you then i'm sure they won't mind talking to the third party.
  8. Sort of person you wish was your dad or brother or at the very least your friend..... Wozz is a big guy who casts a wide shadow but by god does he make the sunshine.
  9. I was told it was being moved some weeks ago and i announced that to the board..... Seemingly there was problems moving the forum hence the delay. What i wasn't told was the problem was sorted and the forum was going down...... It should be back today, tomorrow at the latest :)
  10. That's good of you to speak to them about their prices. What bothered me was 3 hours labour equalling £170+VAT. 170 doesn't cleanly divide by three does it? Which made me suspicious that they were trying to pull my pants down! The job doesn't take three hours anyway?
  11. yes will be adjustment all round but the main thing is it now feels safe price was £200 and i was there for about 4 hours. Problem is now i've forgotten the name of the camber adjusters i was supposed to look at He also mentioned you Tony said you had some interesting conversations lol i bet theres a protractor and a slide rule in there somewhere ;) Speak to Prolex about the adjusters, they have some good stuff. Drury, amongst others used to be one of our "trusted centres" but i dropped this recommendation last year for all of them. The simple reason was i didn't have the time to police them since i needed to concentrate on my own business. Recently i contacted Paul and complained about their prices, not just for Lexus but other cars, their workmanship is exemplary no question there but at what price.....
  12. That is good news.... Remember the Geo will definitely need doing again because the camber and toe positions will be gone once the tie rod's fitted.
  13. Those cambers are deep aren't they, i assume your getting adjusters for the front as well...... Anyway how much did it cost?
  14. I think Tony now recommends the F1 Asymmetrics now that the GSD3's are discontinued (I will be getting some F1A's fitted on Saturday). The T1R's are still a good choice. Is that with me
  15. Hooray..... I must say very little impresses me nowadays, i suppose i'm a little long in the curly tooth and i've seen it all, but never have i met such a genuine person like Mr Woz. The newbies reading this thread must think WTF is he going on about?..... well what "we" are going on about is someone who extends friendship in such a fashion to everyone it's our duty to say thanks. Thank you Wozza for your timeless efforts to employ help for all members however distressed, wherever in the Uk and at whatever personal cost......
  16. This is my tribute thread to DJ Wozza. Wozza or should i say moderator Wozza joined the LOC community a year or so ago and immediately enveloped himself into the community as someone who didn't always have the answer to a problem but would always offer a solution. I, like many others found his support relentless and to be honest his desire was absolute in many cases. Wozza has become a worthy leader in charity events, supporting the most ridiculous of tasks so long as money for charity evolved, he became a team leader for meets and other LOC events all around the UK, even investing his own money to ensure the meets went unhindered, i know this for sure because he invested his own money at the LOC/wim meet. Ever more so important is to explain his work "out-of-sight".... Wozza has helped many..."MANY" members out of sight via pm or email or in my case on the phone, just to offer a kind word or a smile for tomorrow, a "chin-up" or "i'm sorry for you mate" whatever he was there. I think many here would tip their hat and salute Wozza for his hand on heart desire to help others and i for one cherish the privilege of meeting such a genuine example of a compassionate up standing human being.... I salute you sir.
  17. No i don't think so.... I'll show you?
  18. We offer "buy one get none free"..... is that the same
  19. It did thank you...... I pondered whether i could be brave enough to read it at her funeral.... I wasn't but it did help me gain solace with myself. It's amazing how words cleverly constructed can force such emotion.
  20. Aw i just wish you were near me i could deal with it in 15min!!!! Proof of the pudding is how it handles after the bracket is replaced.... If she pulls then you need further repairs, if she drives straight but the steering is off centre then the castor has been mended but the toe has been pushed out.
