so if these are the baselines superchargers are unsafe without internals IMO any sort of forced induction on a engine that was not desigened for forced induction is a risk fullstop sticking a free flow air filter and zorst makes the life span of your engine half according to manufacters but we all doit and run over 100000 plus with not a thought

mine has run .8 more than once there are no base lines untill it happens otherwise every one would run .7 and not think twice i have thrashed the nuts of mine with standard internals hitting .7.8 mine will not boost below .6 even if you set the controllerto .3 the setup i have makes .6 even if you switch the boost conroller off

very good point mate this is what i am saying because you are playing on the very limits knowing .6 is safe even the best boost controllers wont have the time to react to the slightest problem especialy when we are talking from .6 to .7 to .8 realy for total saftey .3 is ideal setting like the supercharger but we do these mods and all live on the edge sorry to say i agree coil pack should not cause this problem but the conrads are has thin as paper

there are loads of reason leaks in pipes can give you a spike boost so even if your setup for .7 .8 is nothing for a small fault to occour and get you there

Didn't mean it to come across like that Mat......there will be plenty of pics of the work as it progresses, which will be made public upon completion of the project. It's not that we want to share this with folks, just that "work in progress" tends to attract negativity from some quarters of the community which we want to avoid. There will be plenty of opportunity for comments (and criticism) once the project is completed. i like what your doing but like mat said if you put picsup work in progress keeps the interest up plus some of that negativity who ever it is from may have pluses in it and get you thinking i think all worked out plans how ever acurate can be added on by others just a thougt will be nice to see the outcome
