    mate if you have abent valve some times a feeler gauge is not good enough i have seen valves bent were the only way i could tell was in a dark room a torch or spotlight shining directly at it oh and that was with the head off sorry for you am may be astrip down needed

  6. @DAZ In your case I would recommend a thicker head gasket after doing an injector upgrade. :winky: And you can boost, boost, boost...... i am in one of those situations when the injecters go in just like adie realy were is the weak link should not be the bottomend of the engine so it will be a matter of turning the boost up and listen to what the peaple who know say
  7. i dont think h/gasket is a weak point i put a new one on mine its its metal very high quality spock had fuel goiing in it was the best way with a ectra injecter but it was getting more fuel may be the pistons at .8 280 bhp were spock had it was the weak point its like mine mate when my injecters are in were will be the weak point head h/gasket valves springs no one realy knows i have spocken to a few of the lads on the MLR site they say cant see why you cant push it hard now with the uprated internals turbo may be the first to run out of steam my car will answer a few questions this summer with the injecters going in very soon

  11. that is mine .8 but set at .6 for safty of standard internals with my setup extra fuel lines bigger fuel pump fse etc etc 262bhp .7 bar injecters wont take no more hoping to break the 300 barrier when i get my injecters from tdi with my forged internals now i should have no worries

  14. i have a hks top job but if you realy wnat to get in the guts of the boost contoling avcr i top quality had a play with them on the evo,s you need to know what your doing though
  15. nice car looks very quick this is why the turbo is the ultimate mod because there is no end to what you can achieve but you goto leave the wife and sell the house

  18. you cant uprate a bit at a time its engine out job change everything h/gasket the lot to be safe isent marcus looking at changing is engine compare the prices go from there but like i said most you goint to get is .7 safely on those standard internals and you buy injecters imo you will need the return fuel lines to gain from it then you may need uprated fuel pump 1 job just leeds to another mate
  19. this is a tough one to call mate just going on the guys on this furom spock 282 or round there .8 boost melted piston roadrash 240 to 250 round there .6 boost safe as houses imo i would not bother with injecters unless you do your internals and fuel return line fuel rail should be safe i will find out when i get some then you can play and see were what gives
