  4. i think personely it all depends were you advertise your car you stick it in the local rag they want standard you put it in the performance mags on sites etc cant see why you cant leave them as modded
  5. prolex are good value got good tuners good workman ship depends what power gains you want superchargers just bolt on and away you go

  8. bleed nipple is the right hand side of the box underneath some one correct me if its on the left get someone to sit in the car push the peddle down undo the nipple let the fluid out close the nipple then let the peddle rise make sure the peddle stays down why nipple is open or you will get air in the system repeat about 10 times then pump peddle see how it feels remember to keep an eye on the fluid sure mat could add some info to this
  9. yea i use one dave, i would not start the job without it :winky: Daza could that be it mate, I can get 1,2,3 ,4 most of the time, no 5th and i can get 6th so do you think it could need bleeding ;) ← i would say yea when i did mine i could not get any gears untill i bled it
  10. mate did you put the gear stick back the right way it slighly angles to the left if i remember right but it will go in both ways other sugestion bleed the clutch i had to bleed mine

  13. mate i cant realy answer that i had the engine out but going on what i did like i said those top bolts will be a right pain i would imagine get the engine on a jack drop the back end down as low as poss long extension bar and if i remember right 17mm bolts may be 19mm to be honest i dont mind rear wheel drive clutches split the prop shaft it will all drop off no bloody drive shafts and balljoints to split one more thing get your car has high has you can you will be spending afew hours under there
  14. thanks for that daza :D is that all i need to keep from the old one mate ;) is there anything else i should know about before hand, ← not realy pal as dave said all the rest is there a little grease on the thrush bearing plus with mine i took the cap off the brake cylinder and i had to bleed the clutch when i was done lovely clutch to use mate realy grips and gets the power in
  15. and keep the clip that comes of the thrush bearing have a good look at it the fitting of it a little fidley good luck with those top 2 bolts on gearbox should be a lot of fun
