Suspected this to be the case. Peaves me off, why should people with older cars be punished financially. The engine in a pre march car is the same.It throws out the same amount of Co2... Just robbery, the government are nothing short of scum bags with ties on! They should re-think this and do it from new cars onwards. Myself and alot of other members use Mintex, but Green stuff is good, guess if you're trying to keep costs down, the Mintex ones are probably cheaper. I could be wrong. As for coming apart, if their as easy as the previous IS models brake assembly you should have no problems at all.

£6.3 is alot I think now for an IS. Becasue of the hideous tax and high running costs, the IS's just aren't fetching top £. The LE are limited edition. They came with differenct alloys, paint colour, grill and often towards the end of the IS200 life span, pretty much everything, full leather, sat nav etc etc

I only replaced mine about 30k miles ago to the IK22s when I also installed the S/C. How long do these tend to last?

The Lexus Bluetooth is very basic compared to some cars.Would be even a bit better if you could browse the phonebook and directory. So if you use your work phone, you get work contacts, if wife uses her pink Samsung in the IS when she is driving, she get's all her friends contacts, etc. That would be much better in my opinion. As is the iphones bluetooth support! As the other dude said, if you can get a Sony Ericsson to transfer all the contacts.
