    Sounds like what happens if you have the ignition on after turning the engine off - but I guess that doesn't help!

    The RS200 is lighter and will reach 62 in second gear.... Also its torque is higher for a lot of the rev band. Drive one, you'll understand!

    the additives like will probably work to fool the knock sensors into beliveing the fuel has a high octane value - there's very few fuel additives out there that actually boost the true octane value

    warranty holdings are in recievership. I've been told that the Uk spec key and the Jap spec are very different so having a Lexus key may not be possible. You could probably wander down the scrap yard to find the seats - I was quoted 1200 for all of them incl door trims. The electrics are there but I doubt the fuses are....

    I get 380-420 miles off a full tank - I have had as much as 440 when I'm on a long distance cruise

    27, 5 yrs ncb £587 for me, (but I don't live in London) try A Plan (brokers) I tried privilege - on web then phone and they quoted 690 I think there's a website along the lines of importhandbooks.com - if not try a google My Lexus dealer is more than happy to service the car...

    It's every 100k for the cam belt, same as the IS, but 6 years is probably the equivalent interval.

    there be nowt, lad, except there usually has to be a CAT 2 to pass the ESVA - and that could be anything....

    I've seen the torque curve for this engine and it's a little peaky - it might be a little difficult to keep it in the optimum power band. That said the peak is a looooong way up and it's still going to have oodles of oomph through 2k-4k.

    Really? They are only one group more than an IS200 Sport - try a specialist - Adrian Flux or A-Plan, Osborne and sons..... No Model Report, eh.... I'll be selling mine soon, that should play into my hands!! (evil laugh!)

    How old is your car? Yes, the UK spec radios do fit, but there are 2 types - those with built in amp and those without (sorry, bluffing a little as mine is a 99 model, and that's all I know about) I bought mine at a scrap yard but it still had the err 3 so had to send it off for 300 squids worth of repairs - so buy carefully! Can't tell you about the tele, though, sorry.

    ah, my favorite post topic.... I have a 99 RS 200 with amp and I have the head unit from a 99 SE/Sport spec IS200 and it plugs straight in; so as long as the pins are the same on the 2001 stereos you'll be fine.
