I'm pretty sure although they may have your car for roughly a day, the actual time spent on your car is a couple of hours max - it should say in your Service receipt break down bit i.e. the labour charge bit 75gbp/unit total 1.5units etc.

I reckon you should pay at least double the TV License fee lol Maybe donate the Sammy to Aido! It is good to have one less bill to pay, but its just so much the norm for ppl to have a TV, it doesn't really cross my mind that I could go to someone's house and they wont have a TV... D.

Does it shorten it dramatically (in that it might need replacing soon) or is it something that would only affect you if you had the car more than 10 years say? Personally I don't see the point in auto lights that you can't leave on all the time, but if its expensive and will fail much quicker, might start switching them off now and then..... :D its shortens it, as in more relays blow on cars that use autolights, than those that dont, in fact considerably more frequent Ah. As I was reading I was worried you meant the light sensor would eventually fail. Relay switches are not that expensive to replace afaik. I like the auto-light thinga-me-bob :D D. This is similar sort of damage to what I got back in February!!! Luckily someone witnessed mine, and got the culprits registration details. Getting mine sorted out (finally) after their insurer's admitted liabilty. Car going in tomorrow (Thurs 24th). :) Wonder what loan car i'll get... (not Lexus/Toyota - their insurers are providing "like-for-like" car). Inicidently, the quote I got for repairs came to over a grand! (including sorting out the alloy!) D.

Free servicing - was it part of the deal when you bought your car ? Certainly don't get free servicing in the UK, I just paid £174.00 for a 10,000 mile service on the IS220d. No mention of it when I bought the car. just a nice suprise! :P A most pleasant suprise i'm sure! What's the chances my next service will be £0... :duh:

A couple of quick points that I don't think anyone has really mentioned: 220d has only one not as cool looking exhaust. 250 has dual exhausts. 220d is a lot more noisy (outside of the car that is) than the 250. And 220d is ONLY in manual. 250 got both options. D. :winky:

I remember when we once had to pay like £20-£30 for a PAYG Sim card. Kinda drumming up business giving them all away for free... Although you do supposedly need to top them up each month... D.

I guess its when new members join, and the "View new Posts" brings everything up...
