    If we're talking old-skool, then DOS FDISK wont recognise anything bigger than 32GB anyway iirc... D.

    Try this: Right Click on My Computer -> Manage (assuming XP) Click Disk Management On the right hand side you should see a graphical representation of your 160GB disk - play around with the partitions - I would expect to see about 150GB "Unused space" in your scenario... D.

    Dont forget to get components that are officially MCE compatible - otherwise they wont work properly/fully with the MCE GUI (such as the fading effect on the menu system, the waffling background thingy, TV cards are a pain to get to work unles MCE compatible). I guess this is all in aid of your carputer? D.
