Jamboo, I too had two Netgears from PC world that just kept dropping the connection. Funnily enough every time I go to a PCWorld someone seems to be returning a Netgear Router :o In the end a Linksys WAG54G was recommended to me and in the 12 months I've had it I can't think of a time when the connection has dropped. Very reliable. :D LinkSys all the way :D Although I also use a Netgear 834G which has been fine...

Mine failed last week as well, but due to the headlight aim, rather than direction. £12.50 + VAT just to adjust it! Surely its like a 5 minute job??? Oh well. D.

I thought that when I saw the writing on the wing mirror glass! That's fantastic. Could probably be rendered in real-time on current-generation gaming hardware such as an Xbox360, but would take ages to design (and imagine) nevertheless. Higher-res version here. Takes a while to download though - it's 40MB! And don't bother unless you've got a fast PC - my laptop (Pentium III 850MHz) can't handle it very well! It is pretty w00t if I do say. That link dont work :(

Thanks all! So many replies I wont try to reply to them all! But it was such a fantastic feeling when I was told "Toyota would like to employ you". I went through a job agency, and he was as calm and as monotone as you can get. When he said he had "feedback" from Toyota, I thought it was gonna be a rejection. Anyway, the deal on car leasing is for employees only i'm afraid afaik. Roll in new challenges and working with people that think-alike. My main role is to support the systems used when you guys get finance/lease deals on your Toyota's and Lexi cars. So, if you're at a dealer, and the system goes down, it could be me fixing it! I've received my contract of employment via e-mail now, and hard copy is in the post... So will actually be waiting till Monday to give my current company the golden fingers :winky: Kaizen (Japanese) - continuous improvement. D. :D

Some of you may or may not know I have been looking for a new job, as the job I am currently at... well, lets say "no longer suits my requierments" (boring, repetitive, not learning anything, working with anal people etc). I have just been given the job offer to work for Toyota Financial Services as a Business Systems Analyst! :) :D B) I'm over the moon :D This will be a proper company to work for. Much better working environment (its their HQ in Epson - Burgh Heath). Purpose built building, with restaurant, gym, parking etc. Get loadsa benefits including Non-contributory pension! (about time I got a pension full stop really!) Oh, and did I mention a special rate for leasing of cars? Lexus and Toyota! Hmmmm Anyway, I'm still buzzing. Gonna hand in my notice tomorrow! Woohoo! Very expensive - I beleive that there are 3rd party companies out there that can maintain your warranty beyond the 3 years for cheaper, but definately read what they do/dont cover. One thing that the Lexus extended warranty wont cover are the alloys corroding (should you be unlucky enough to experience this). These would be one of the most expensive things to replace... Otherwise, not much expensive stuff (well, costing over the 500 quid you were quoted) goes wrong as such each year. D.
