  1. Coming from a moderator.......shurely your personal experience belongs in it's own thread
  2. I'm sure you'll have a fun day big fella.......another double act on the cards?
  3. Hopefully it's a bank screw up...... A few years ago I had an HSBC USD offshore account that was scammed......successive payments of up to $5,000,000 were transferred into the account and then transferred out again a day later. I contacted the SFO at the Metropolitan Police and they traced it to a money laundering team who were targeting dormant accounts. No one was ever arrested unfortunately.
  4. Which type/colour are you after? No blue 501's m'fraid
  5. Top mounts, ARB drop links, bushes......
  6. All sold out - sorry If there's another five or more peeps interested I'll run another GB on these.
  7. The 4 hours is an approximate figure, which will vary from car-to-car of course. You're not getting ther point though, are you? Read my previous posts again. I've never said that remapping DOES NOT benefit a turbo'd, S/C'd or highly modified car......just that it's a waste of money on a standard ride for 6bhp gain
  8. Oh...yes I hadn't even included the cost of a decent piggyback ECU in there. Let's say £250 for the ECU and the numbers become even more disappointing... £108/bhp
  9. Get yourself down to Lagos mate! :winky: Good beer, the blow grows by the roadside and as much tottie as you can shake a stick at
  10. This statement is not correct. Then provide data which shows the performance gains - on a totally standard car like our friend has, together with the cost of the remap and lets see the bucks per bang. Let's see......6hp (is that fly or wheels?).....mapping around 4 hours at £100/hour (inc VAT) equals.... AN INCREDIBLE 67 £/hp Top value for money there! :tsktsk:
  11. On some cars just the blown bulb warning light comes on, on others the h'brake light also comes on. Connect a 6ohm / 25W load resistor each side, across the green and white/black wire. :D
  12. You're wasting your money remapping unless you have a turbo or supercharger fitted. On a normally aspirated car the fuel is already going to the right place.
  13. Awesome conversion Gav.......will you be bringing her over for JAE 2007?
  14. Are there any decent theme parks in the UK which DON'T close for winter?
  15. ERR1 is a communication fault, normally cleared by disconnecting the battery but can also be terminal.
  16. Have a great day Sanj :D Don't listen to 'em mate, life does begin at 40!
  17. Are you using the official Lexus handbook that came with the car? Look towards the back of the manual, the oil capacity will be listed, with/without filter.
  18. Nice one fella! :D Has anyone warned Sheffield you're coming?
  19. I'll be interested to hear about your findings with the F-Con and different maps / fuel settings!
  20. These products are all snake oil......
  21. Only of any real benefit to turbo or supercharged engines where the ECU is remapped using race gas. This stuff can be mixed with petrol 30% toluene or xylene to 70% petrol. It's very hard to come by legally since it is a component used in making explosives.
  22. The orders have gone out today! :D Just a word of caution when changing the lenses out - line up the clips and press them in very gently. Too much force and they can crack!
