  1. Read my response more carefully....I asked "Under which Toyota section in Glass' Guide" would Lexus be found?
  2. Perhaps someone will correct me then.......where in the Toyota section of Glass' guide do any of the Lexus models fall?
  3. But a Vauxhall is still a Vauxhall, all said and done :duh:
  4. Aido had a new clutch on it about a year ago I think?
  5. The Toyota pads are fine if you have a standard IS300.
  6. No it doesn't,, the sportcross has a very slightly smaller boot space with the seats in the up position. It's just easier to access the boot due to the different rear door.
  7. Flog it and get the 15mm version......maybe you didn't read the advice earlier in the thread which suggested the 15mm in the first place?
  8. Judging from the pic they are 9mm (only come in either 9mm or 15mm).......you need 15mm dude
  9. Woeful....worse than chrome spinners
  10. OK folks, the clear lenses will be with me on Monday, I'll get all the kits out to everyone ASAP. Once again, my aplogies for the delay on this.
  11. How specific do they have to be in relation to the location of the alleged offence - in my case all they quote is "A609 Trowell Road, Woolaton, Nottingham". Trowell Road goes on for a few miles....
  12. I had an NIP come last week......undisclosed speed in a 30 limit. I remember the van which was parked on the pavement on the other side of the road! They've sent me the photo and the license plate is clear enough, but the driver is unidentifiable! Next thing I'm going to ask for is the calibration report for the camera and check if there's any conflict with the speed limit signs further back up the road. May as well make them work for their scamera money!
  13. Safety Check? More like screw the punter check........take the car to an independent garage for a second opinion!
  14. Now here's a novel idea: http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g292/mjm...theftdevice.flv
  15. Try wiring the LR across the ground and the green wire. No, the LR's aren't polarity sensitive.
  16. If it's same as other Toyota models the bulb type will be a 196 (also known as 501) wedge type.
  17. Not mate.....the very low oven temperature means that all of the organics from the paint are blown out from the oven, rather than stick to the surfaces, as when cooking a joint of pork (with crackling), for example.
  18. Springs for the IS200/300 will also fit the Altezza. Loads of different brands are available.
  19. I've got to say that the oven method works perfectly for smaller parts - after the parts were touch dry I cooked the bits for approx 2 hours @ 50-60° and left to cool for a couple of hours before the second coat. I'll leave them overnight before spraying with a couple of coats of laquer and then some more cooking. Just for the record I used Halfords primer, Halfords Vauxhall Midnight Black metallic (like a mica effect, same as my roof for peeps who've seen it). The bits look quality already even before the laquer coat! :D Well chuffed! :P
  20. I totally agree with Mat....there may be fundamental flaws in the way in which B&B handled the issue, but the world will be a better place without Saddam
  21. All sorted Rather than running new cables through the door grommets (PITA job) I just used the existing feeds. Got it all wired up and the new system sounds awesome.....at Volume level 12 I can't actually hear the NUR-Spec
  22. Think it's either a 15A or 20A micro blade type - they're the smallest blade types. Maplins or Halfords stock them
