  1. Used to have/tow a caravan, but now we stay in statics :) Good, cheap, fun holidays :D
  2. yes things have been sorted out almost i have the bumper just waiting for a few attaching parts now Nice one mate :winky: ... you going to JAE?
  3. I suppose 80 - 90% of the car looking like that is the fact that it's only just come off the production line...
  4. I use the overdrive button a lot when slowing down from 50+ mph, and will only change down manually to 2nd when in the centre of town 'cos my bazooka's "pop" and "burble" quite nicely :P :winky:
  5. Thanks for your suggestions guy's :) ... I have now found an aftermarket supplier (Midland Spring Company) that's sending me a pair of complete springs brand new for £171 delivered, which I didn't think was too bad - plus they are the upgraded 5 leaf instead of the 4 :winky: @ Lexus Boy, Sounds scary mate!
  6. Also make sure you wear all the right gear... not like THESE TWO. Check out the front wheel... bye, bye skin
  7. OK mate :) HERE'S a piccy of her :P
  8. Well Ahmet, you're quite welcome to join me... but remember you're about 70 miles from here Anyway, not sure if the farmer would allow a police issue M4 carbine on his land
  9. Just bought myself a 1991 Daihatsu Sportrak ELXi 1.6 16v for £400 :D Very handy as I've been shooting (shotgun) for a few months now, and it's ideal to drive around the farmers land. Just one prob though, one of the rear spring leafs has snapped... could I get away with welding it, or do I need to buy a new one? - been told you cannot buy the leafs seperate, only the set?
  10. I went... but found the LOC stand people-less , but watched the Monster drifting with somebody at the wheel that I didn't recognise What time was that mate? I was waiting to see Mat drifting, but I left about 1.30 ish after the jet car so I could get a good spot in the pub for the football. Must have been about 2:30 Adie... we then stuck around for the jet cars second run - ears are still ringing
  11. I went... but found the LOC stand people-less , but watched the Monster drifting with somebody at the wheel that I didn't recognise
  12. That jet car is something else... :o :duh:
  13. I've got an annoying rattle from the rear-view mirror on my Mk1...
  14. 38... at 23 was driving a Cavalier SRi with full Janspeed zorst system :D Was 37 when I bought my first/current Lexus
  15. Do it, that looks ace, you can wear your leathers and lid too. Looks like you'd need them. :D There's a Paramotor club just down the road to me, so I often see them "buzzing" around. Apparently they are safer than bikes... :o Made me think about it even more as last week a dozen of us went out for a ride and three of my mates went down big time - two took to hospital, one out now (broken arm, lasserated kidney) and one still in (smashed shoulder, 4 broken ribs, punctured lung etc.) resulting in a Bussa & Gixxer written off and a smashed R1 I still love biking, but that was a very close one that "nearly" made up my mind about giving it up :shutit: Black is always good (never, ever liked the kwak green - horrible and all too common too) but personally I would never buy a bike that did not have black wheels as they are always a bitch to keep clean. It's not like a car wheel where you can easily clean your alloys, you have chains, sprockets, and brakes in the way of cleaning motorbike wheels and its awkward to cover all surfaces, go for black and they are easy to keep looking good :winky:. Maybe i'm just lazy (no, actually I *know* I am lazy :D ) The green ones are the fastest :winky:
  16. I've had several bikes over the years. Got a '99 Kawasaki ZX9R C2, but am thinking about flogging it to buy one of THESE :P :P :P
  17. Great stuff :D Been flying the planes for several years now... got three planes (two nitro, one electric) two nitro helicopters and an electric indoor one - fab hobby :), but ruddy expensive :o
  18. This is why we normally take my works van... :)
