Must admit they do they love the roads around here when it's sunny/good conditions, i tried to keep up but my jet engine ran out of petrol after about 10secs. Note to self....get a bigger fuel tank. :) Mate, you shouldn't really be feeding a jet engine petrol...

Lets just face the facts... "BIKERS RULE!!!"

All bikers, 50cc or 1000>cc are entitled to their section of road space... the safest position being 2/3 out from the kerb as instructed by rider training. The motorcyclist should be treated as any 4 wheel vehicle on the road, so if the need calls to overtake, then assume it's another car/van/lorry and use the other carriage way to overtake when safe to do so :winky: I know you'll always get the odd maniac kids on their scooters crawling all over you through towns etc, sitting up your a**e rev, rev, rev, cutting in front, racing you from the lights... but these are the inexperienced spotty oiks that mummy & daddy bought a scooter for on their 16th Birthday, who then think they're king of the road

Tony Think I paid £140 or so for the kit and yes it was the 9006 for dipped beams. The output in terms of brighter light is a great as standard lights on full beam. It would be interesting to see what a similar set up on the full beam lamps would be like. So far so good. Not been flashed yet by any other drivers but then I set them quite low on the manual adjuster. Thanks Keith... best start saving me pennies :winky:

My brother-in-law took me out in his TVR Cerbera yesterday... I think it's 390 bhp and as light as a feather - went pretty well :D , but then again, cars are slow when you ride a sports bike

Just driven past a standard GATSO camera (rear facing) on the other side of the road :o, so I was travelling in the opposite direction, and it flashed me twice... would it have got me??? OK, I admit I was going nearly 40 in a 30mph zone, but it was a straight empty road and I was well aware of the surroundings Never been flashed by one of these before, so have I got something to worry about?
