  11. damn :( there goes my plans... this 3 point STB looks frikkin sexy...lol (excuse the terminology) wish somehow somewhere someone is listening, and they make a 3pt STB for the IS200.
  12. reading other posts on this forum it suggests that Cusco don't make a 3point strut brace to fit the IS200... i know i'm in the Altezza room, but isn't the mounts on the body relatively the same? Any chance the 2 main points on the strut are similar to the normal Cusco strut bar that can fit over the EDFC module?? I hope answers to both questions are yes..

  18. not one of my best but posting just to keep things flowing... :) A lady walks into a BMW dealership and browses around. Suddenly she spots the most perfect, beautiful car and walks over to inspect it. As she bends forward to feel the fine leather upholstery, an unexpected little fart escapes her. Very embarrassed, she anxiously looks around to see if anyone has noticed and hopes a sales person doesn't pop up right now. As she turns back, there standing next to her is a salesman. With a pleasant smile he greets her, "Good day, Madame. How may we help you today? " Trying to maintain an air of sophistication and acting as though Nothing had happened, she smiles back and asks, "Sir, what is the price of this lovely vehicle? " Still smiling pleasantly, he replies, "Madame, I'm very sorry to say that if you farted just touching it, you are going to sh*t yourself when you hear the price."
  19. i think the granite looks best, to be fair...
  20. Here's a set of paints as per Lexus colour schemes... (almost) Shell Platinum Ice Chamonix White St Lucia Pearl Granite Sky Astral Black Scarlatti Red Persian Quartz Glenarvon Pine Antimony Montrose Blue Not perfect but gives a good example...
  21. No problemo... Firstly lassoo the shell of the body. This will include the lights the windows number plates and all the plastic trims you can see directly between roof and chassis, and the front and back. :) copy this to a new layer. Now on this layer, lassoo the windows, wing mirror, lights, number plate, plastic trims, and anything else that ISN'T bodywork. Once all are selected (can do it one by one) hit the delete key to remove them from the layer. Ensure your metal shell is the "top layer" in the program. You can now hit the "skin mask" button to ignore all else. In the layer window actually click on the (now masked) image. To change the colour from here, you have two choices. You can either colourize and change the Hue/Saturation, or you can adjust the Curves. Finally to make it realistic you will have to adjust the brightness and contrast to match the surrounding pic. PS: I really am no expert, this is just the way i do it.
  22. if as suggested by the previous owner the wiring is in fact loose, could you not perhaps tape it down with some insulation tape? if the wire is required to hang between the roof line and skin maybe you could stretch it taught, ever so slightly? just a thought maybe?!
