Did you ask them to look out for a "pre enjoyed" one I ask? Soon as you mentioned new plates you are talking new so maybe a bit of mis-understanding ← they guy i think named "javad" spoke with me. we discussed the reason i would wait till the new plates came out, as the older ones would drop slightly in price, and that i wouldn't mind waiting a while longer. anyhow, off to the trade centre this weekend... :D

i'll be getting a manual for sure. only plan on using 3 of the gears. 1st...straight to 6th, and maybe reverse :D i'll sell you my 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th gears if you want them

i think i'm going to stick to building my own carputer (boot mounted), that way i can save the din plate to mould in a screen like Fargo and Ukazn have done. for me, the location of the screen is a very important factor. do you know if you can have 2 screens (one in the console and one in the dash tray) to both be touch screen, and work from a dual output graphics card? maybe even stack the 2 screens and use them as an extended desktop as the functions are available in xp. i'm just throwing a few ideas in the air.

i think i'm going to have to take my frames and eyes to Tony from WIM and get a geometery done... my eye is still pulling to the left... lol :D

seen a few cars in my area with the lip light spoiler... wasn't overly fond of it, but it is a personal taste thing. with the highlevel spoiler, you wont need the brake light as the rear shelf brake light is viewable between the spoiler and boot lid. (just about)

i'd say budget for £240 tops... if its more expensive then that, then you're probably getting ripped off.

yeh that lexus is pretty sweet, have you seen the IS250 photochop i did...? might notice where i knicked the intercooler and doors off. lol. but yeh getting that pearlescent effect paintwork took a lot of fiddling about in photoshop.

All thing lexus are expensive ← i know.... but i like it, so that's enough justification for spending the money... just need to know what it is

Haven't bothered completing Need for Speed 2 because i just enjoy cruising round in my IS300 :D *help, somebody get this geek off the computer :mat: * lol hahahahaha ← It looks pretty good , and should do some more. Rebadged obviously, and slightly cheaper! Infact looking at most of the equipment looks like rebadged carputers.

Yeh i know, they've been around for years, but i fancy having an in-car-puter. Want it to be wirelessly networked, with a few monitoring tools i may develop. Was thinking about getting some software designed to enable rear parking camera's and internal camera, on event of an alarm or suspicious activity. I know the Clifford alarm will start your car for you if the battery is about to die. So i may be able to wire it up so that the ignition turn will boot up the PC and start recording data to the hard drive. I work in IT for a Security firm, so i know most of this is possible, just dont actually know at what angle to approach it from.

off topic, but regarding courtesy calls from Lexus. I asked Lexus Edgware to keep me informed when they found a Lexus for me, at the spec i wanted. For the first 3 months, they were very polite always referring to me as "Mr Popat". Then when i said that I would like to wait till the new plates come out in March, the sales guy sounded upset and annoyed. I couldn't help the fact that my finances did not allow me to purchase the lex at the time. Anyway, they have not been in touch with me since. I guess they think I was wasting their time. One thing I will not be doing is buying from the dealers, as i dont want them to get any commission. I will also park my gleeming clean lexus outside their showroom once i get it, just to peev them off.

that's what i'm thinking, it's very easy, although the touch screen isn't as good as i was hoping :( i may yet build my own in-car-puter.

I do not mean to offend LOC with my attempted graphics work on the IS250. Please bare with me... it's still work in progress... Please dont throw the book at me for defacing a lovely piece of engineering, i'm only "doodling"
