  1. not sure but look at this site http://www.expansys.com/forumthread.asp?co...&thread=120
  2. Awesome. Good to hear mate. Nice to hear it's just a car, and not a rocketship made from special parts that can only be serviced by Lexus stealers! now you just need the guidelines to make a lexus servicing stamp out of an old potato ;) well done its not as hard as it looks is it. Now if we can convince everyone to do their own servicing dealer servicings will have to get cheaper
  3. Chips will correct me if I'm wrong, but he was probably referring to a trader on mkivsupra.net who ships new Toyota parts from Hong Kong, rather than to whoever is selling the secondhand ones. There's another typo, you meant "do".... :) There are far too many Supra forums anyway i may sit corrected then
  4. I've just gone EBC all round on my car with the grooved and dimpled fronts with green stuff pads the whole lot cost me roughly £450 if i include new anti squeal shims and sliding pins as well. Not got them all on yet so i can't give you a proper run down of what i think. If you are looking to put the UK spec supra 4 pot calipers on you will either need to use the supra 17s or use spacers to give the clearance, what i will say about the ones for sale on the supra forums is they were on ebay for £250 as i was bidding on them and someone bought it now for the 250 to make profit on them. Not exactly cricket in my book on here everyone lets each other know when something that is useful comes up they don't buy it then try to make a profit on other members (as far as i know), but there you go. Ask matt about his stoptechs i'm sure they could be made to fit if they dont already and would be a better buy than the £350 thats being asked for the supra calipers. If you just want to uprate standard then go see EBC direct
  5. How, wow I would love to see that! not alot with the pc as I said, works just froze when i had 2windows open! lets cut to the chase whats gaming performance and availability like on macs this is the only way you will convince me
  6. i'm a 911 too thought i would be an audi with my four sprung duck technique
  7. Looking now to remove the pre cats and change the manifold on the car as well but i want to try and find some decat solutions before i start going mad. The only thing i have found is one for the N/A supra but i dunno if its a useable item. So i look to others experience to see if they can help ;) Cheers Austin
  8. I've got brat duty on Sunday (Miss Morse will be six)......then off to Nigeria on Monday for 10 daze tell miss Morse, you made a mistake and its not her birthday for a few more weeks :winky: i have a complete turbo, manifold and downpipe change, fabricate intake, fabricate brace etc etc to do on sunday ! the horns take about an hour surely just sit tonight and make the wires up then its just a case of fit it in the morning then fit the coilovers
  9. i saw it i asked him about some bits he wants £1000 for the engine and gearbox £400 for the interior and £400 for the sat nav
  10. indicators or lack of is my pet hate closely followed by lane discipline on roundabouts, i dunno how many times i have nearly been squashed against the inside barriers on roundabouts especially by van drivers and 4x4s. i keep saying one day i am going to let them hit me, but i don't think i could bring myself to damage the car nor do the 10 years for manslaughter after killing the offending driver
  11. tried the megs cleaner and conditioner the other week its much better than autoglym it comes highly recommended. Removes stubborn children stains and old brake dust (don't ask) from the leather.
  12. only advice i have is unless you are really very confident you can do it then get someone else to as it can go horribly wrong if you miss something. Other than that good luck and dont end up with any bolts left at the end ;)
  13. these are on offer now from xerd $289 for the header, however i think there is a fitting issue with the RHD, however have seen one sold on ebay that was fitted http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-Supra-6-2-1-e...1QQcmdZViewItem so i assume it fits the GS300 without the fitting issues. Is the seller a member at all?
  14. Did not have start up knock when i bought it, i have given it ome hammer though and driven it every day, and i think the bloke before used it only at weekends, always let engine warm up and cool down properly though, don't think it has been over 4000 rpm for some time!! where exactly in warwickshire are you and a straight swap won't be that difficult just a bit frustrating at times due to seized nuts
  15. long grolley bar is a bar to add leverage and the ball joint splitters are just two forks on a hinge you screw together to release the ball joint
  16. the tescos near me has replaced all the 99ron with 97 super, was not happy the other day when i filled up. Is this the shape of thigs to come at tesco?
  17. 2 grand would be cheaper to buy a new engine and install it
  18. now thats an informative post if i ever saw one top job
  19. not 100% but i think thats a ball joint so you will need a ball joint splitter i would also advise a very long grolley bar to aid removal ;)
  20. Well done that man :winky: Must admit I'm surprised, I imagine we have a different pipe that comes off the turbos aswell then. Edited--as I'm dumb :( anything come of this as i am looking to decat mine at the min will the mk4 supe decat go onto a mk1 gs or just the aristo TT
  21. i have T1-R's on my GS and i am thoroughly happy with them and would recommend them, however i am going onto continetal contact sports when i fit the 18's
  22. well my two up front are doing bugger all for me considering they are supposed to be world class
  23. i had a similar problem on my mk1 when i first got it i also noticed that the gear lever was bouncing slightly when i heard noise and got the "jumping" from the front. With mine it turned out to be a sticking caliper on the drivers side. I also get the clunk which i have been informed could be the sliding pins, i have just ordered some new ones so i should be able to tell you thursday if they cure it Austin
  24. what you want is them delivered as samples ;) usualy the postage offsets the difference in price though
