  1. CCTV is part of what I do for a living. What do you need info, design, advice PM me and I will help if I can :D
  2. Yeh, forgot ot say welcome to THE Club
  3. Good point better to find the limits where you can spin or run off without taking out a hedge or worse another car. But we are all Great Drivers are we not, it's all the other idoits on the road that need lessons lol
  4. Light is for bulb failure, check that you reconnected tha wires properly and that should sort it :D
  5. Happy Birthday Tony, have a great day and hope it is full of geos to do :D
  6. Handling and brakes come first on my list. Then performance (no good having loads of power if it won't corner or stop?) Looks come last (e.g. styling, whats the point in having a car that looks like it's doing the ton standing still in the car park but has a lump under the bonnet that would'nt pull the skin off a rice pudding?). As has been pointed out the IS is a good looking car anyway, that's what started me digging back when I bought it. Personal preferance is to have the car looking as standard as possible, keeps chav's and the law off your back, but goes like **** off a chrome shovel :D
  7. OK I got NTHell Broadband running at 750K Use Netgear wireless router with a firewall. All PC's also run ZoneAlarm firewall. Use AVG as anti-virus and all PC's are set to auto update profiles and full scan on a daily basis. Also use AdAware to check for malware. Interestingly AdAware has on occasions found viruses not found by AVG Call me paranoid but I would not trust Microsoft to protect my PC, it would be like getting the best security locks for your house and then handing over the back door key to a stranger. Also if hackers are going to find a way in they will find the "back door" left by Microsoft before they crack other software
  8. Theory has been around for years, old geezers on bikes reckoned they went faster when it was misty. First thing is the air is colder and more dense, second is that water is one third oxygen so bit in the engine is no problem it helps the burn :D
  9. Mine's done that as well. Just left it switched off for a day, fired it back up and it sorted it's self out :D
  10. Is that US Gallons? UK 60 l = 13 Gallons. 4.54 litres per gallon so 300 miles 23 mpg. I get about 320 miles out of a tank or 25 to the gallon worst has been about 22
  11. Wicked wheels great looking car. If it was any lower it would be exhausting in the Southern Hemisphere :D
