  1. I haven't done any great miles on the motorway yet - I think the most M/way miles that I've done on a tank is 50. Most is local stop/start traffic, and I usually fill up at about 350 miles done. It takes about 60 litres to fill it, so it works out to about 25 mpg :( Used to get about 23 mpg from my V6 2.5........
  2. Glad it's not just me. There are a couple of corners locally that I use quite a bit and I've noticed the indicator doesn't cancel - they are probably JUST less than 90 degrees. Weird.
  3. And I've got you in tape, saying that. Ooops, sorry - ON tape!!
  4. I have a 'months' trial from Pitney Bowes - but I've had it for nearly 2 months, now, and they haven't asked for it back! When they do want paying for it, I understand I can 'negotiate' the monthly rental down to about a tenner a month. They do postage refills over the phone, too, so it saves you running out for stamps. Try their website http://www.pitneybowes.co.uk for a months trial (Nero is another one, but they want £20 per month rental minimum. Paul
  5. Sounds like someone from the Soprano's!! Mine is the old school nickname, from my surname, but EVERYONE calls me it - even the missus!
  6. I blanked it out Steve so that he didn't get any more free advertising!!! I thought I didn't write that!! But you missed one from javadude :D. Fair doos to the guy, he replied today. Short and sweet, but he replied - probably read the thread.......
  7. Anyone interested in swapping/selling white calliper stickers, as in the kind that ****** sells? I ordered silver/white from him, as I'm going for black callipers, but when they came they're a kind of metallic grey - too dark for black. They would look smart on light callipers. I really need white ones, but I've emailed him twice asking him to swap them, at my expense, but there's no reply. Figures:mad: I COULD just order some white ones off him, but I'm not going to do that, am I? Not if he can't be ***** replying to emails other than sales.
  8. Looks Excellent!! Brave man, though! So much for 'no drilling required', then? Hey, GRiM's got colour!
  9. I'll meet you at JB, although I'll be driving south to get there. If there's going to be a more northerly point as a meeting place, that could be better for me.
  10. I didn't know Tesco had started fitting their trolleys with Traction Control!! Mine stepped out in the wet - the TC light came on OK. I've just come back to RWD after 15 years with RWD. Got to get used to it again....... Do the IS's have LSD?
  11. Yeh, yeh! Post the pics and let's have a look! Tell us about the 'no drilling' wiring, too :D
  12. I am sure this can be added quite easily.. alot of Alarm systems have this facility Isn't it a real shame that this is missing? Even a Focus I had as a company car had it!!
  13. Those roof spoilers look quite nice.............
  14. WOW, the ladies are REALLY going for it on there!!
  15. What is this with the green tyres, anyway??
  16. Was that a Sportcross I spied on 'Being April' tonight? She nearly wrapped it!
  17. I'm scared of the score I'll get!! Been a Ford man for so long, you see......:D
  18. Me, sholao? The best place to see pictures/buy a used unit (and there are some bargains) is www.ebay.co.uk. I paid about £370 for mine (colour version) and it doesn't need installing. They're about £750 new - the new new ones have voice. Mine doesn't. Paul
