How are owners finding front passenger seat comfort? Initial short test drive in Premium Plus my wife complained the Seat squab was too short to support her legs adequately. Thinking we need a longer drive when she could experiment with various Seat positions but would welcome existing owners who will have driven for longer what they, and their passengers, thoughts are on passenger seat comfort.

I think I can access the four wheel cylinder pressures using techstream data list. Might check that out. -
Last Autumn we did Madrid and while there got a rail card to visit some great places nearby. I would highly recommend a visit. Avila, Segovia, Toledo, Escorial, Aranjuez. 70€ for a travel pass for the week covers all of it.

Hahaha I’ve had a Mk2 too in times past If it’s sold then they used to say the engine etc was worth a few grand …… nope I’m settled now when I bought this Mk1 having been totally turned off by the impracticality of the Sc430 when someone outta the blue parked up outside and gave me an in depth appraisal of his new to him Sc430 …….. I think I told you all at that time 🤔 No space to store my sandwiches even for a picnic 😄 Malc

I've used this crowd a couple of times for map updates which seemed a respectable deal - others are available. Seems new maps for the earliest of the Gen 4 GS have stopped now, but you can get updated to 2022/3, which is good. I've idly wondered about installing a BeatSonic, Grom, or Carlinkit kit to get CarPlay, but not taken the plunge. Lots of chat about those systems on clublexus

I have just installed a Rewire Security DB2 on my NX300h. Installation and loading the app on my phone were both was very straight forward. The initial current draw was 30ma. It dropped to less than 10ma once it had found a GPS satellite and went into sleep mode. It has its own internal battery that allows it to function if it is disconnected from the car 12v battery.

This is always a Grey Area Scott.. When not going to the Dealership.. I Have heard on occasions that Tyres being fitted at Private Garages have problems because the fitter Shall we say Does not handle the small units with the Experienced care of the Lexus Dealerships. I,m not saying this is what has happened but.. it Could be.. And These little units are expensive.. Certainly hope that is not the case and resolved Soon... Best Regards..!! -
Toms racing VP-8 forged offset wheels with tyres

Hi there do you still have these wheels? Thanks Email me on amadi_s@outlook.com I'm in West London. Would love these for my GS460 -
Oh well - worth a try before it gets expensive. If it was me I would try disconnecting all the cables to it which would fully power down the radio, but it sounds ominously like an internal issue. Sorry. When I worked at a large broadcasting company we had a usual last resort fix before it got too complicated and expensive. It was called the "engineers walk". We took the offending unit out for a walk and put it down and picked it up firmly a few times, in other words gave it a bit of a beating. Then plugged it back in. Amazingly it sometimes worked, but usually only for a limited time before it finally died.🤓. PS switch cleaner can work wonders too. Just one example off google below-

Thanks for the intel. I'm getting 29mpg on mixed driving so far but on the more local and extra urban side (few runs above 50mph). Does make me think that maybe some cells are failing as I've been trying to make the most of engine braking and general braking too, and certainly havent been heavy footed. Feel like I should be getting 32mpg. Spark plugs were last replaced by Lexus main dealer just over 3 years ago. Does a failing 12V battery make any difference? Haven't checked tyre pressures on the 19inch wheels yet but the ride quality is absolutely shocking IMO. Constant vibration and judder with every road contour eliciting a reaction, even on the motorway. I read about the firm ride but this is kind of ridiculous. Rear bushings had an advisory so perhaps that's part of the problem there? Comfortable as the seats are, constant cabin movement grates.

I notice the stag is colour coordinated white with the garage 😉

If they are the standard SC430 wheels, spec should read .. PCD 5 x 114.3 Diameter 18" Offset 45 spec should be embossed on the back of the wheel spokes 👍🏻

Coilover spring rates
jeffrosie6 replied to jeffrosie6's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Not a problem buddy. That's exactly what I've been doing. Heat and penetrating fluid. Using a 50/50 mix of diesel & aviation hydraulic fluid as that's what I've read that the RAF mechanics used to use to good effect. Got them more or less freed. Fingers crossed the rears are good. -
Considering it's an outside car and we've had a cold, wet and windy winter. the 10yr old CT still brushes up ok with a decent wash down. Ready to go for another year now, MOT, Major service, Lexus Roadside, new 3yr fixed price service contract and the 11th year of Relax warranty. all done and yet another year of completely trouble free motoring. This car never ceases to amaze me.

I came from a Cross and it was noticeably higher than this UX. Nowhere near the quality though. -
