Out of interest whats the difference between the NFU and Tesco policy?

I used ‘Cool car’ who are a mobile aircon service for the wife’s Mazda. They did a full service including regas in under 1 hour.

I can’t help with the info but when my 12v battery went flat I called Lexus and the AA guy plugged his diagnostic in the OBD port and he said he couldn’t access the necessary codes as Lexus had shut them so only registered dealers could access them. Good luck sorting it.

Yes good for shows and photoshoots but too uncomfortable and risky on most of our roads. I eventually sacrificed a little bit of grip on wide 19s for comfort with the SC rubber. For touring and general use I wouldn't go bigger than 19s. it does make you wonder how harsh the ride is in other marques.

Good grief. Really not a great idea to leave the car with Lexus open ended. Always get a call before they eviscerate a vehicle. Often a very intense dry out and diagnostic error clear or aux battery isolation. Get them to put it back together.

Thanks gji25, I shouldve mentioned theyre 19inch wheels. Ive had them at 40Psi for a few weeks now and happy with the ride so will stick to that for now. Thank you for taking the time to post and reply. In case it helps anyone else in future, I think I've figured out the grinding issue, Im pretty sure it was the dust guards on the brake discs, I pushed them back slightly with my hand where they felt too close to the discs and since then no grinding noise. I hope you are all well. 🙂

Yep! This looks the best deal out there, thanks. A separate search revealed that the ‘HSB’ range still being sold by Halfords are the older items and have been superceded by the newer YBX range. I’m ordering via ‘batterycharged.co.uk’. As you say, £94 deleivered.

Car has been found by the police in North London. I still think Lexus needs to do better than this. In a footage from our neighbours cam we watched how they opened the car and drove off in less then 2 minutes. Amazing.

Driver and passenger sides haven't got seperate lights, it's as Eggie says, constant green and it's working correctly.

Sorry you lost me. There are only 2 lights. Red and green. Once car starts they flash i.e. checking system and then green light remains on telling you all is correct. The only other message displayed relates to passenger air bag being activated. You can disable the passenger airbag e.g. if transporting a baby, but not the drivers which you cannot turn on/off. The e-call system does not activate on passenger/driver sides but activates if air bags activated automatically.
