Hi guys,

I'm on a look out for a Lexus IS250 due to wife having our first kid in Jan 2016. I'm currently driving a Civic Type R 2004 (part of the civic type r owners club) and looking for a IS250 F Sport 2010, is the suspension harsh on these rides?

I'm only interested in either the F sport or SE-L, its a shame the rear seats doesn't fold down but i only heard good things about the IS250 (comfort and reliability).

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

PS: WIll be buying gold membership once I get a Lexus

Welcome to the LOC Qui, Things are a bit slow sometimes due to Lexus being less common. I can't answer the question on the IS, but hopefully someone will soon!

Thanks Phil.

No worries, I'm just trying to get my car ready to sell so I can purchase a IS250 (within the month or 2).

I see you're from SE London, I've just finished working and living at a house in South Norwood, we were there for six weeks, not too bad until you venture up to Portland Rd!!

Hi and welcome to the club, I unfortunately also cant comment

on the IS, but I did have a GS450h f sport, not sure if the set up is the same
but that had active suspension and in normal and sport mode the ride was quite
soft and smooth, however it was a lot stiffer and harder in sports+, so if the
IS works the same way you can have the best of both worlds, best to test drive them yourself
and feel the difference.

Hi all, so I sold my civic type r recently and just picked up and nice white IS250 F sport with multimedia pack (sat nav and ML audio)

So far the experience has been excellent, only wanted one with ML audio and the sound quality is top notch My first mod will be to replace some lights with LED.

Does anyone know if this comes with auto dimming side mirrors? The mirrors i have currently have a gold tint to it and around the edges, it looks like normal color glass, not sure if previous owner just replaced the glass?
