All Those With Tte Bumper....

All of those that have,did you install the h/light washers:

We did today,and damm it looks good,we've got the rest of the kit to go on tomorrow and my mates done a nice mod on the rear lip spoiler to accomodate another exhaust,matches original side exit exactly,you'd think it came from the factory like it !!!!

I should get my digi cam back tomorrow so i will take some pics hopefully.

Had no dramas with it Mat it went straight on,2 bolts hold the side, 1 on top and 2 for the motor.Then we did a pattern for the cap holes, a fair bit of measuring to get it right,cut them out and voila.

Took a bit of time though.

Oh yeah...........i forgot to say we had to shave a bit off the o/side washer bracket coz it was fouling the vent next to the for light,angle grinder out for that one.

ahha thats where the ones i have are fouling........

i considerd shaving, but thought it would weaken the bracket.....i will go back and look again

trial and error Mat,we shaved a tiny bit off at a time and it shouldnt weaken it at all

as it still felt sturdy enough when we put it all together.......and it works,with no flexing on the fixture.

My car came new with the TTE front bumper (Dynamic pack) and Lexus just blanked out the switch.

I'm not even 100% sure if the plumbing is there to fit the washers.

When I bought my car I ordered the TTE bumper and got them to paint and install it, and the headlight washers where on it. ;)

Grim as i said just take a bit off at a time but keep the curvature of the bracket we only took enough off to clear the o/s vent........its all back on now and i still have'nt got my camera back.

It was done when my mate was away on holiday(surprise for him),but he may not like the mesh we put in the grill/vents so we may have to take it apart,so might be able to get some photos for you then.

When they put the styling kit on the Sport and later SE models they just blanked the washers off. All the plumbing is there to put them in ( you can see it through the lower mesh with a rubber plug on ) but you would beed the motors, etc. as said above.
