Hi all my name is Stuart I have owned my lexus is200 for about a year now I always liked the look of them but now I have got one i have a love for the drive and looks even more. I am still new to the is200 life and I am still trying to get to know the car and what I can do with it. I love showing her off even tho she is still standard. Now you know abit about me I would love to get to know and make friends with other lexus owners so don't hesitate in contacting me.

Hi Stuart and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.

We always like to see pictures of members cars so don't be shy.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later.

Hi Stuart, welcome to the Loc ..you've got a nice motor there, I had a is200 for 10 years and can honestly say it was the second best car I've owned, ( the best car I owned was a lotus elan +2 that was way back in the 1980s ) I've got a is250 now but still miss my is200 , what colour is your car ? Is it auto or manual , I had the manual and found the gearbox perfect , have you had the cambelt replaced ? I think recommended to be done every 60k or 4 years whichever comes first. I just thought I would mention it ......look after your car and it will last you well,

Have you got higher hinges fitted to your bonnet ? It seems to be lifted at screen end of the bonnet, nice car in that colour, regarding your cam belt....I really would get this done as soon as you can  , the consequences of it failing could wreck the engine , I had mine done twice when I had my is200 , the cost was about £ 250.00
