Folding mirrors

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to get my door mirrors programmed into to the car so they fold when the doors are locked. My first Luxury IS was ok but on my Advance model it's one feature I really miss.

Unfortunately in the UK it is only fitted to vehicles with memory seats - which is a standard fit on the Premier and optional on the F Sport.

Hey Richard, Can you confirm whether or not you have electric folding mirrors? Do you have a button on the driver door allowing you to fold them in? If so, is there a button next to it labelled 'Auto'? Press this and an little LED will light up. Get out of the car and lock it to see if this works.

Thanks Lee, no auto button unfortunately, only a button to fold them in which I usually forget until I am walking away from the car that's why I would like it linked to the lock circuit as it was on my previous luxury version.

did you look at the posted link for ebay ,as i feel this is the only economical way to achieve the outcome you want.

Thanks for your help. I would only consider a Lexus programme/software solution. I am not technical enough to consider adding wiring or risking my warrantee. Thanks anyway.
