Why do people intend on messing you about so much when your selling a car??

I have had 3 blokes come for a look at my car and said they will definately have it, when their money clears!!!!!

Still waiting!!!!!!!

A deposit normally secures a buy Scott.

Perhaps you need to be upfront and get at least £500 deposit and hold car for the buyer for a set period, if then he/she does not show with the rest of the balance in cleared funds... they lose their deposit.

I know what you mean though, I got builders at the mo not showing up...

Oh i know mate.... don`t get me wrong, they didn`t leave a deposit, so i told them i can`t assure them i will keep the car for them... first come first serve!

Still a phone call to say they can`t get insured or can`t afford it is all it takes!!!

Don`t know wheather to try putting it on eBay.... i havn`t advertised it yet and 3 people came to look at it!!! LOL

I`m only selling her to get a newer one with less miles, which i can supercharge etc, as it will be like an advert for the company.

Don`t get me wrong, i`d have nothing other than an Altezza.
