Milage Odometer

I have noticed that on my odometer reading the last 2, sometimes 3 digits don't display properly.

Any advice, on what I can do?

Supracharged-IS340 does beat about the bush sometimes doesn't he??

if the dealer is very dear, you could try the people who are looking into the probs with my instrument cluster and climate control display. although they are 'down south' that would deal with you by post if you could remove it, but talk to them first.

I wouldn't be able to drive it if I removed it.

And I need the Lex for work.

As it is worse sometimes than others it seems like a connection problem. However it could be the connections on the actual LCD panel so unless you know what you are doing I wouldn't recommend taking it apart yourself.

I take it you car is out of warranty?

Are you sure the previous owner didn't try and clock a few LCD miles back with a screwdriver :D

No it wasn't a Lexus dealer. (unfortunately)

And yes I'm sure it hasn't been tampered with.

I HPi'd everything before handing over my cash.

Everything checked out, including the mileage. :)

if it is under 3yrs old you can take it to Lexus as the manufacturers warrenty will still be valid.
