Hi All,

I need some new all seasons rubber for each corner for my 06 GS450h, however I've heard the TPMS modules can be very delicate and easily broken by tyre fitters, I've had a look around the form and see mention of a 'fitting kit' 04423-02010 but I don't see this PN listed anywhere on Lexus or Toyota parts sites or ebay, although I haven't called Lexus service centre yet I guess that's the right place to find them

Also is it worth just going to Lexus to get the tyres fitted, I'm assuming they would know the right procedure to replace without damaging the sensors?

Thanks

Dan

My local Lexus dealer price-matched Blackcircles when I recently purchased four Michelin Pilot Sport 4s for my own GS450.

This means they’ll fit them and in the unlikely event of them breaking or damaging anything you can complain and they’ll sort you out with their “legendary customer service”.

Any tyre shop would be responsible for replacing a sensor they damage when fitting new tyres  it's not something you  as a customer needs worry about but as above I would rather go to Lexus dealership, especially if they price match

My Lexus Dealer did the same for my Kuhmo All Seasons.

Thanks all, sounds like it's main dealer all the way on this then 🙂

Cheers

    1. 1. If you were to consider buying a Hybrid model over 5 years old, would you be worried about the reliability of the Hybrid system?

      • Not really as Hybrid systems are always reliable
      • Not if it had a Manufacturers Warranty on the Hybrid system
      • I would not buy a Hybrid model over 5 years old
