I would take the RX any day. The NX feels a bit lethargic.

I dont have any issues driving the RX, its very easy to drive. Id say its easier to drive than an equivalent length saloon as you can look down and see where the kerbs, ditches and small humans are.

I haven't driven a RX, so can't offer any advice on that, but what I would say is don't rule out the NX.

The minor niggles that you have seen reported on the NX forum are, like you say, minor. IMHO I don't think the NX is any less "bullet proof" than a RX of a similar age and mileage. Yes, the NX is smaller and less powerful but do you need anything bigger/more powerful? It will transport 4 adults in comfort and the boot space is sufficient for most every day tasks.

You could probably pick up a relatively low mileage, facelifted, 1st generation NX (2018 onwards) with the options you desire for something close to your budget (£30k).

Just my humble opinion and of course, as others have said - take a test drive in both.
