NX350h boot close buttons

Recommended Posts

I have a 23 plate NX350h and the boot closure has 2 buttons on the hatch to close it. One just closes it as normal, the other has the symbol of a lock and the handbook is a bit vague on what it does. Any owners figured it please?

Which reminds me of the story I once heard, asked of a Professor of Relationships.

This simple test enables anyone to determine the real value of relationships.

On subsequent days, lock your partner into the boot for 30 minutes, and the following day lock your dog into the boot for thirty minutes.

On which day did you receive the most heartfelt welcome when you re-opened the boot.

(Advice to children - please do NOT try this at home)

Yes this both closes the hatch and locks the whole vehicle.

Is this exactly the same as the double touch of the door handle  when leaving the car?

The double touch dead locks the lock and should, therefore, be more secure. Not related to closing the boot
