first Sat Nav glitch

Recommended Posts

Typical. Responded to a post on Friday saying the sat nav had given me no problems - then setting off to Marriott Hollins Hall in W.Yorks and the sat nav went loopy:?:. At one point the screen went completely blank and reported that the position marker was 9999 miles from car position (thought I was in the air at that point:lol:).

Then I remembered that the car got delivered back from the body to the dealer on the back of a lorry - which must throw the sat nav out completely :?:.

Anyway, chose the callibrate option to see if it did the trick and it seems to of settled down again.

One gripe about the sat nav is that it must be possible to allow the passenger to operate the sat nav whilst the car is in motion - I know there are implications but there must be a way !

There is an option to suppress the road speed inhibit in the savnav's maintenance mode. Also a few other options.

My dealer declined to give me the code to get into the programme - they know how I love to fiddle with things! If anyone can sweeten their dealer please let me know.
