Why have they put is200??... it is an RS200!!!

I know as i am helping supply bits etc... and where do you think those used parts i "obntained" came from?? lol

i am going down this weekend to have a nosey how they are doing..

about time they let the altezza into competition over here!! :D :zee:

Think it would be better to go 4 the DTM and beet the Merc and Audis and soon MG, or even the ETCC and race against BMW but not BTCC it is no fun any more, I wont even marshal it now i am board there

but at least it is good to see lexus racing

the black IS that was in the BTCC a few years ago was a tezza..

and to be honest, the series has gone seriously downhill over the last 5/10 years IMHO...

In this weeks Auto Express, they have a small supplement covering the teams for this years BTCC championship, not having read this thread it was a total suprize that 2 Lexus IS200's are taking part :) .

The two drivers are Richard Williams and Ian Curley, the car's team is HPI Racing with Friends Reunited ( do hope the cars are not going to be green ! ), i wish both the guys well and will be glued to the TV to see how well they do ( lets hope better than last time ).

sorry to say no information on what engine they are using...only time will tell :winky:

BTCC the last time i followed the BTCC there were T%'s racing and john cleland (if thats right) was in the vauxhalls good day at donnington though as i remember

Must say i'm feeling quite excite at the prospect of two IS200 getting involved in this years BTCC, first race is a Donington Park on 10th April.

Will also be on TV , 10th April, ITV1 3.30pm B) .
