Window Clearing Problem

This is my first post since joining in July, have been reading all the posts and they provide so much useful info.

Without reading, i would still have 2.5yr old kerbed alloys (I have just had them changed under warranty).

Anyway, does anyone know how to keep the front window clear when it is chucking it down without using the AC? (I have only had the car 3 months and have not driven in any downpours)

sunroof

Whats that? :(

I find that switching it to the windscreen setting, the immediately turning the aircon off (which would have switched itself on) works well.

I tried that this morning but I'd used the aircon last night and I guess it saved up some moisture which it blew onto the windscreen just as I turned onto the main road. The whole windscreen fogged so I had to stop on zigzags for a crossing and let it clear with the ac on.

Usually I find the windscreen/feet setting keeps it clear but only if I've not been using the ac recently.
