Hi Daz!

Ordinary modern engines or internals don't need to run in.

In my opinion you can anyway load normal boost and drive.

Of course don't use it for any race track the first few 100s miles, but for street you shouldn't need to take much care. :winky:

JE makes pistons and rods of top quality for 5000HP Dragsters..... so their material should handle your 280HP....

cheers mike

will just leave at the normal boost then will still do about 500-600 miles though with new head gasket and all the rest of the new seals bedding in

then hopefully will go up to at least 1 bar then only thing will be injecters do you think the standard injecters will take the extra boost or is it just a matter of try it and see.

hoopefully before JAE will get dyno and see what my baby is pushing  :)

cheers for the info mate

Try and see. :winky:

If it runs too lean, then try to raise boost pressure.

Otherwise TDI should make a new fuel rail or modify the stock one for you and fit 440cc or 550cc injectors. B)

I hope that it won't produce too huge lag..... notice you have a 2.0L I6 or maybe a 2.2L now....

Did you make those pipings by yourself?

my mate cut it all out the chap with the evo

well worth looking into if you have a tte bumper because you could not see my I/cooler att all

now its on show and more important the cold air is straight in threre

No only got the standard one at the mo.. But i've been looking at different bumpers for the intercooler. The only one i've seen is the one Mat has on the monster. But yours looks great definately a possibility something along those lines :D
