What's the spec of the Skyline?

I'm starting to see a lot of older ones on the roads around here now but it's very rare I see newer spec cars like that - they're a serious piece of kit!

Bit off topic since this is a Lexus forum, but....

it's a 1999 R34 GTR V-spec, circa 500bhp, 16k from new.

Now that is a beautiful piece of kit!

Seeing stuff like that does make you realise that a lot of us have just really been playing - I'd rather take a Skyline than a BMW M Series anyday - even though I do love the M5!

no more plans - possibly a brake upgrade in the future, but the 4 pot brembos with pagid blue pads do stop pretty quick!

the car was built as a fast road car - once you get above 500bhp the everyday drive-abilty suffers - my last skyline was 600bhp and was nowhere as nice to drive as this one.

In what ways did drivability suffer over 500bhp?

yip 19" Z1's on 275/30 which are a nightmare to keep clean.

600bhp in that car was either on/off it didn't like bumbling along.

the 34 is a far better all round driving experience especilly with the S-tune suspension.

I've got the Z1's but in 18" and they aren't clean - can't get them polished in time for JAE so the car's coming filthy!! The ront polished bits are just black - I might just paint them for now!!!

Cheeky question I know but what sort of cash is a 1999 model like that? Either tell me to mind my own business, Pm if you would rather or to hell with it and post here!

Just I have been looking at all sorts to replace the TT and have been going though so many options from 911 Cs to Mini with all the toys and I am currently first on the list at my Audi dealer for the R9, but that is ages away. Had a nory for a GS450h too, but two hybrid cars? That would just be silly!
