Free Air Con Check-up

I have recieved a letter from Lexus saying that they are offering a free air con checkup until 31st August. Has anyone else?

Will be getting my IS booked in for this week.

:P Satan (BMW) is after me!

I have to admit to gettig awfully tempted to look into a BMW 330d. Not this new shape but the model that has just been replaced. 0-60mph in 7secs AND 42Mpg!! :o AND you can get diesal tuning chips that add 40 - 50bhp for around £500 - £600!! Compare that to the cost of a supercharger and you have one seriously quick car with good fuel economy too! All the reviews I have read are great too - only problem is its a BMW and I don't want to be hated by every other motorist!

I get offers from BMW, Jag and recently got a Mercedes Benz magazine! Do not fret, im not falling for their charms!! :P

i think you should edit the 42mph to mpg as no self respecting BMW driver ever goes less than 50mph in a built up area!

I think they just want your money,when they find a bacterial build up in the air con system....and they will find something ;)

I also got an invitation to test drive the full range of Lexus at Seaburn Hall...or somewhere like that anyway

Exactly! "BTW Sir we recommend an A/C every year and your's looks like it's long overdue"

Look at the other thread on A/C cleaning , there are plenty of almost free alternatives!

slightly off topic

but i got a letter from lexus saying that my MOT was already out of date and i should book in immediately. Well for starters it runs out in October and has never been done by them.
