Rx 300 Seating Postion

We have recently bought an RX300 which we love but for one small, important point. The driver's seat does not go back far enough for me to drive comfortablyand I am only 6 feet 2 inches. I informed the dealership after 10 days that I wanted the seat to go further back and they said they would look into fixing it for me. After 3 months of investigating they now say it cannot be done and it is just tough. I thought Lexus and customer satisfaction went hand in hand. They have now offered £10k less than the purchase price for the car if I want to sell it back to them. It is only 3 motnhs old and has less than 1500 miles on the clock

I am a brand new Lexus driver and feel that I am getting dumped on.

Any legal eagles out there or indeed anyone with similar experiences

Did you not notice the problem in the test drive?

Just wondering as I've never heard of them doing a custom job like this before for someone?

They can be good but to be honest I've never heard of them being that good!

The fact that you reported it after ten days probably would work in your favour somehow though?

Get onto Lexus UK and give em HELL, the car should be able to take a person of 6ft 2" tall.

I'm over 6.2 and my seat will go well back for somebody a lot taller than me. A very comfortable ride.
