How Does The Rx400h Accelerate?

Recommended Posts

Is the RX400h quick off the mark?

Jason Plato drove an electric two-seater sponsored by a former F1 racing driver in Monte Carlo. He said " because 100% of the torque is available all of the time, nothink, I mean nothink, will accelerate faster off the mark".

OK so the electric motors only provide about a quarter of the power, but they must provide a far flatter torque curve

You'd have wiped the floor with the SC's Ian! That RX is quick! Very nice drive as well, I never experienced the torque steer I've heard some go on about?

I've just got back from the dealer and it was so tempting to order a GS, every colour I see I like -saw a red one like Bazza was on about yesterday and it looks phenomenal!

Noticed they already had a few MK3 GS's and RX400's on the approved used car section as well....
