I know the RX300 has a button marked "text"...only CD I ever found with it encoded was the Savage Garden "affirmation" (wife's CD..) Pain that more record companies don't add the necessary info to the cd.

I know about the RX300, just want to be sure about the RX400, before ordering a vaistech adaptor for my Ipod.

If it has CD-Text, the headunit will display track titles etc. from the Ipod. Vaistech confirmed that US-models have the feature, I just want to make sure for the european one.

Let us know how you get on with the installation etc if you go for it. Would be really interested in this myself. Don't have an iPod, never been able to justify it based on my use but permanenetly in the car with all of my CD collection available would be highly appealing.

I have this unit in my GS, and unknown to me - it actually had a MD emulation mode.

I will be setting up a group buy on the Vais Tech units this week - keep your eyes peeled! :D

Come on guys, anyone outthere, jsut stick a CD with CD-text information into your headunit and let me know.
