Copper grease is known to "react" with break dust. If you use to much it will be a stiff mass which could prevent the pads in free movement. I wouldn't use copper grease for working up the pads/calipers. Get some genuine Toyota break grease. Dunno the correct name...

if you are using copper slip then remember to use gloves its highly carcinogenic so don't brush your teeth with it either /i went off copper grease when i discovered molybdenum grease which i preferred
