Hi all

What would be the figure for me to get a Sport styling kit on a is200 sport, who does the cheapest kit and fit to make my car look more like a beast on the road. I understand there is all different kinds of kits but I'm just interest in the basic one that comes with sport styling kit that you see on the Lexus website.

Could someone throw me so figures to see how much it would be to upgrade my car.

Thanks B)

Si, You've got the TRD kit, I think cdouble is on about the Lexus Sport Styling Kit. Whole new front bumper assembly, skirt and grill and rear skirt + 18's.

Jimmy

You are correct mate, although mine did include the grill, the only difference I can spot are the wheels and the spoiler?

Cheers

Si

The Lexus Styling Kit which is now available as an official model in it's own right (as per Andy Hart's car), is available to purchase seperately, so you can choose only certain elements if you so desire. All the following prices include VAT. The 18" wheels with Pirelli 225/40 ZR18 tyres included are £339 each. You also need a LH front wheel arch liner £42.50, an 18" Tyre Label Kit £3.85, a spare wheel compensator kit £92.95 and 4 centre caps at £10.18 each. Fitting is approx £132.19. Grand Total £2007.21

The bodykit is as follows. Front Bumper £ 312.22 , Washer Blanking Plug £4.31, Washer Switch Blanking Plug £3.76, Grille Emblem £14.57, 2 Emblem Clips at £0.52 each, IS200 domed front sport badge £4.11, rear skirt £195. Optional are High Level Rear Spoiler £296.95 for non Sport Models and Side Skirts £285.95 (TRD type). Painting and Fitting would depend on the amount of parts fitted. Dealers offering Gold Member discount would obviously make a fair difference to this price. (Buy it all and your saving could be as much as £468.77 on this little lot). Makes going Gold look value

Well thanks guys £2000 sure is a rip off

And the TRD kit is not bad for £800 and if that is lexus dealer prices someone out there must know where it can be done for cheaper. Any takers anyone?

Thanks Simon and Jimmy

P.S where are some good TRD kits to look at it would be nice to look at some. Thanks.

Sorry I'm a new to this ;)

These items are clearly shown in the Lexus Accessory brochure, from various angles. The big thing with the Spoilers is to get a good bodyshop to fit it all, as without quality work, it all looks awful. A number of the parts are only available from a Lexus Dealer, and with Gold discount it isn't too terrible. Nothing to stop you just buying the parts and getting your own friendly bodyshop to do it, but remember, that sometimes it is easier if you have a problem to complain to just one person rather than 3 suppliers and 1 bodyshop. N.B The wheel prices are with Tyres and the dreaded VAT!

im sorry but actually the £2000+ is a good rate when you consider that a set of 18" wheels with tyres in Max power is advertised for over £1000.....

the front bumper/grill and rear skirt are all TTE parts supplied through lexus GB.......

so i think £2000+ is very reasonable....then add the gold discount.......your getting a bloomin good deal
