New Phone Nokia 6230i

My work phone is dying its a Nokie 6310i. They say the replacement is a Nokia 6230i. Are they any good?

Also car kit will need changing, can this car kit be fitted to mute the stero/nav?

All previous fitters have refused to even try.

yes matey, IMO this model is very good, had one over year now.

I like it, does everything I want a phone to do..

as for the muting bit not sure

yes very good phone you should be able to get an adaptor lead for the hand free kit if the old one was a nokia one

I have one of these, and justy upgraded from a 6310i like you. You don't need a new car kit either - you can get a little insert jobbie that slots inside the old car kit so that it fits new phone - the adaptor costs 30 quids and works a treat - it works a bit like a cradle within a cradle (if that makes sense)

Very unreliable to be honest, in my profession its a known handset for faults........

agreed with kazdul, I own one. The 6310i was the best phone ever made, 2 weeks Battery life, no faults or software error's, why did they stop making them? the first thing you will notice is the Battery in the 6230i only lasts for a few days. Its not a bad phone tho, just no were near as good as the phone it superseeded
