hey guys, im picking up the IS on wednesday, so gettin my vw ready 2 goo 2 its new owner, just a few problems tho..donno if anyone can help??

The electric heated mirrors are acting funny, when trying u 2 adjust the right one it moves the left one aswell!! and when the switch is on 2 heat them only right heats not left!!!

Does anyone knw what could b wrong?? :ohmy::ohmy::sad:

Also when trying to open the boot with the key, its seems 2 open all the windows of the car if i turn the key a lil more (had this problem for some time, but not done anything about it!!

anyone any ideas what could b wrong?? :excl::excl:

In a vain attempt to wind him up, I showed this post to a friend of mine, who was, until recently, service manager for Dovercourt VAG group in London.

He said all these were

"Standard features on a VW car!!"

"It's all in the bloody manual!"

"there's nothing wrong with the car, that's meant to happen!"

Funny thing is, he's now Service Manager for a large Mercedes Dealership!! :lol:

Mate, whats a standard feature. windows open from boot?????????????? boot dont open with swicth??????? If thats the case vw should sort there cars out!! :o

It dont say any of this on the manual! Honstly cant believe that only one mirrow heating is a standard ...both worked before!!
