Unusual Experience Today

Had to share this - was in my local car park on my way to do some shopping and this chap came up to me said he is a Lexus fan and complemented me on the conditiuon of my car. Then ha said he had been looking for one for a while and offered me £4k and gave me his number.

I expect the car is only worth about £2.5k in the current market and I must say I was tempted.

Exactly!! - but if I went for another it would probably be a series 2 Vertex or a mint series 1 Aristo TT.

I am going to mull it over.

u can always buy another mk1 for 2.5k, and use the 1500 for whatever you like!

i'd say be careful - call him, but treat him as any other unknown - make sure you have the money in cleared funds before handing the keys over... etc.

Yeh, Be very carefull; only deal with cash non of this western union or dimond scammers :duh:

Brother went throught a similar think when he was selling his merc.. the guys were willing to pay 1.5k over the odds for it. When down to a car park and started to talk business but he stated that he wanted to export to Africa and can transfer the founds via western union from his rich cuss.. :D :tsktsk:

Borther walked away, no cash no sale... :) Note he meet them in a public space not the house and had his mate with him (big mate) just in case... read too many scam stories..

Just make sure you are aware thats all. If the guy is for real then what are you waiting for :P
