What the best price has anyone had on changing tyres on there IS?

Mine are due for replacement soon, :duh: , and i was wondering how much this may cost.

I am probably going to replace with Bridgestone Potenza's, anyone know how much they cost, and how long they last?

Thnx Lee

What discount would i get if i went gold?

LEE

It really depends on where you get it from, and you'll only find out when you go Gold, but for the £25, you're easily likely to save much much more than that in discounts in a year - and there are around 50 deals you'll have access too..

I know it's all very secretive, but the point is, if we told you now, then non-members could try to exploit the discounts and ruin it for everyone....

Go on, you know it makes sense! You won't regret it, especially when you get your club stickers through, you'll have a nice gooey warm feeling inside... :yahoo:

I've used Potenza Pole Position S03 for a while now - great tyres - very quiet and good wear too - AAA rated

That's reassuring Rod ... just had S03's put all round my IS.

215/45x17 - 90quid each + vat from a local supplier.

Included balance, fit etc though i didn't need that as ...

they were kindly plonked on to luverly smooth refurb wheels by my dealer.

Everyone goes to Micheldever!

The best possible professional tyre fitter at very good prices. You can't go wrong.

They did a very professional job on my car when I lived near them; sadly they're too far away from me these days. They use stick on weights which don't scratch the paint on the alloys so saving on corrosion problems.

Others use clip on weights on the rims.

Micheldever Tyres import most of the tyres in the UK. I think their sales markup is a bit more than others, I got Bridestone SO-3 tyres for my GS from Bracknell tyre and Battery for £8 less each even though Micheldever supplied them.

What Potenza's are you going to get? Don't ask for a quote for just Bridestone Potenza as this is a range of tyre, there are several models SO-3 being the top of the range.

I have always used Headley Tyres (comes under Thatcham or Newbury) Always found them to be about a fiver or so cheaper than Micheldever. Never had a problem with them either.

Tel. 01635 368384

Seen Porsches and all sorts there so I think they should be able to cope with our wheels!!!

I'm always amazed at how Bracknell Tyres manage to be cheaper than anybody else!!
