Recently bought a second hand IS200 SE on a "V" plate and stumbled across this forum :D

May be looking to "mod" the thing in the coming months, but I love its looks as it is

While I am here can anyone reccomend a good touch up paint etc as within having the car for 24hrs one of my neighbours (I live in a Cul-de-sac) decided to graze my bumper and not tell me the **&$£($&"£

Probably got a lot more questions which I will post soon enough

I got a bit too close to a car when I had just bought my Lexus and put a graze on the front bumper. I tried touch up paint and made a pigs ear of it. I had to get a touch up specialist in, the same firm used by the local Lexus, and they came to my home. The touch up was first class, you would not notice, but it cost me £60.

I also know another Lexus owner who has a IS 200 Sport in Plat ice! He lives around the corner from me in Eccles and is the logistics director where I work (I am the network admin) So if you see an old bloke in an IS 200 round eccles, thats not me :P

Thanks also for the paint advice Brian, I am gonna run the car upto a bodyshop nearby who has done a great job on my Xsara when I pranged it in a Mcdonalds drive through :D

I work on Salford Quays so I "know" salford quite well.

Just got a quote for £350 for a fix for the graze of the bumper, which will have to wait till my next payday :(

Its also to sort out some other blemishes on the front of the motor, ones you cant see till you look for them properly lol looks like a touchup that was done rather well but I have the "I know they are there" syndrome...

I work on broadway for a telecoms distributor, we used to have the local scallies try and take our cars now and then, but a nice bit 8ft fence has put a stop to that!

Welcome Dunkie - may be worth checking - I am not sure if Claire has organised a chipsaway type chappie for Gaydon. We had a dent master bloke last meet and he was excellent.

The Bluebell is a bit 'young' on Saturday (or anyday for that matter), but by calling in I saved myself the extra 500 yards or so I'd have had to have walked to the Drop Inn to get my first drink.

There is some logic in there somehwere!

I do go in the Bluebell to watch the odd footy game. It was fantastic during the World Cup last year.

I'm sure I'd have noticed your white IS - strange I've not seen it. I'll pay extra attention from now on.
