Claims Under Warranty

I've noticed that all of my alloys have got bubbling on them, all in varying degrees of severity. None of them are really bad but they're noticable. I read somewhere recently about claiming for a new set under warranty - which my car is - still got a year to go on it. Has anyone had any experience of doing this? How easy is it? Do they have to be corroded to a certain extent before they'll change them? The alternative is a refurb but why should I if the dealers will sort it out for free!

mine weren't that bad, but they changed without quibble all four. As a hint as this is a common problem, you may want to leave as late as possible and extend the life of the new set beyond the warranty.

I changed mine 3 times, the last time just B4 warranty ran out :winky:

Make sure you have kept them clean though so they dont have any excuse to blame you

Do I just take the car back to the dealer then and speak to them about it? Does it have to be the supplying dealer or will any one do? I should know this really - after a few years of owning Peugeot's you'd think I'd be a dab hand at warranty claims!!!

Just drive it in....they changed 2 of mine no quibbles...

Ok, just been to the dealer. Much respect to Lexus Wolverhampton. They have ordered me a new set of 17" alloys without hesitation. A good example of good, old fashioned fine customer service. Oh and the service adviser was cute as hell too!!!!
