Been wanting some more under bonnet blingness and thought about an oil catch can.

I'm really liking the look of these:

CLICK ME

and this

CLICK ME TOO

Will these both fit correctly and easily with 15mm connections??

How easy are they to fit and is there a specific place to feed the return line??

ok i have a few tips, dont use a return line, but a button filter on the second outlet, and just use the feed from the cam cover

however, a really usefull tip to actually change these oil cans from just looking nice to something that actually works......

when you get it, open it and put about half the depth filled with the really thick type pan scourer stuff, the thick wire wool, this allows the oil to condense, and drain to the bottom of the tank....another good tip is to actually run about 3" of tube from the inlet down into the wool, this stops the oil vapour rhats just entered the can from being pushed straight out the outlet.....

liking the monstermodz one over the TOMS to be honest. I ideally want it in blue to go with the piping etc.

how easy is fitting? Is there a guide somewhere? I presume a mounting point will need to be drilled etc?

i know not many will need one, but not only do i like the look of them, they are able to serve some purpose (even if thats only limited). I agree with you mat regarding the ones listed as HKS, GReddy etc on eBay, don't think i'd believe they were genuine.....

Out of interest, something has just occurred to me..... will i be able to fit one of these with the TTE airbox in place??

anything can be fitted ...if you want it to, you will just need to turn the breather vent around on the cam cover, and block the breather inlet into the TTE Airbox

where theres a will there's a way i guess.

but in all honesty mat, i haven't the foggiest about all that.

if someone could help me out and knows how to do this, then i will go ahead and order the part.... :) :D :winky:
