Is200 Sport - 40k Service - How Much?

Hi all

My IS200 Sport is due for a 40k service. Been quoted £399 (Lexus Liverpool).

Does this sound reasonable or should I be shopping around?

seems reasonable to me, had my 40k service at lexus wolverhampton at cost round £480 for is300 about 9 months ago.

- rang up for a 60k service at lexus about 1 month ago and was getting prices for around the £900/1000 mark, as car is now out off warranty i took it to an independent service centre.

I rang up Lexus Woodford today who quoted me £900 + for my 60K service which includes the cambelts. They were doing a promotion at the moment which brought the price down to £650 or there abouts... Independent high road me thinks...

Cheers - was going to go down the independent route but haven't been able to find anyone near me who I would trust to service a Lexus.

Any recommendations on who would do it cheaper - maybe one of the bigger independents that's not too far away from me?

Mine was £480.....seems like the going rate for that service! :(
